Amazon Ads API development

Amazon Ads API and SP-API development, by engineers who live in it.

We build and maintain integrations on the Amazon Ads API and Selling Partner API for agencies, brands and SaaS platforms: authorization, reporting, Marketing Stream, AMC and the rate limits in between. Hire Amazon API developers for a scoped project, or embed them in your team.

What you get

Integrations that keep working after launch.

Auth done properly

Login with Amazon tokens for every profile, refreshed and stored safely.

Changes caught early

Alerts when Amazon changes or retires a report, before dashboards go blank.

Rate limits respected

Queues, backoff and batching designed around Amazon's throttling.

Your code, your repo

Built in your codebase or cloud, documented and handed over.

The problem

Why Amazon API work is harder than it looks.

Getting a first report out of the Amazon Ads API takes an afternoon. Keeping hundreds of profiles flowing is the hard part: Login with Amazon tokens expire or get revoked, reports are asynchronous and throttled, attributed sales restate for days, and Amazon versions its reporting and retires old endpoints on its own schedule. SP-API adds roles, Restricted Data Tokens for personal data and per-operation rate limits. Treated as a side project, the result is a pipeline that fails quietly.

Engagement models

Hire an Amazon API developer, or hand us the build.

Two ways to work with us. A scoped project: we agree the integration, write a fixed-price scope and deliver it, then run it monthly or hand it to your team. Or embedded engineers: Amazon Ads API and SP-API developers join your team through staff augmentation, work in your repo and report to your leads. Either way, the code and documentation are yours.

What we build

What's included.

  • Amazon Ads API integrations for Sponsored Products, Brands, Display and Amazon DSP: campaigns, reporting, and bid and budget changes
  • SP-API integrations for orders, inventory, fees, catalog and reports, for Seller Central and Vendor Central
  • Login with Amazon (LWA) authorization for every advertiser profile and seller account, with secure token storage and refresh
  • Reporting API v3 jobs today, and the move to Amazon's newer unified reporting as it reaches the API
  • Amazon Marketing Stream subscriptions for hourly data without polling
  • Amazon Marketing Cloud instance, query and audience workflows through the API
  • Rate-limit aware queues, retries, backfills and alerts when a report changes shape
  • Multi-tenant apps for agencies and SaaS products, where every client authorizes through one app

How we work

How we run it.

  1. Access and scope

Confirm API access, the profiles and marketplaces involved, and what the integration has to do.

  2. Auth and ingestion

Login with Amazon authorization, then report and stream ingestion with retries and backfills.

  3. Model and test

Data lands in your warehouse or app database, modeled, tested and checked against the console.

  4. Run or hand over

We monitor it and adapt to Amazon's changes, or hand it to your team with the docs.

FAQ

Common questions.

Can we hire a dedicated Amazon Ads API developer?

Yes. Through staff augmentation an Amazon Ads API or SP-API developer joins your team, works in your tools and reports to your leads. For larger work we can add a small pod or take the whole integration as a scoped project.

Do you help with Amazon Ads API access?

Yes. We guide you through registering your app and requesting access, then set up Login with Amazon authorization so each advertiser profile or seller account grants access through your app.

How do you handle Amazon API rate limits?

We design around them from the start: queued and batched report requests, backoff when Amazon throttles, and incremental pulls so a rerun doesn't refetch everything. Marketing Stream covers hourly needs without polling.

What happens when Amazon changes or retires a report?

Schema checks catch the change and alert us before it reaches a dashboard. We plan migrations, such as moving from older report versions to the current reporting API, so history stays consistent across the switch.

How much does Amazon Ads API development cost?

It depends on the APIs involved, the number of accounts and whether we build, run or both. We quote a fixed price after a free 30-minute call.

Who owns the code?

You do. We build in your repository or cloud account and hand over documentation, so your team can maintain it without us.
